Admitted to the Roll of Advocates as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya on 19th March 2014, Mathenge’s professional qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa in the year 2008 and a Post-graduate Diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law.

At Afritrade Mathenge has been instrumental in legal counsel in deal structuring, service agreements, term sheets, as well as negotiation and deal closing.

Margaret has over 10 years of experience in marketing and has worked with various clients including Safaricom, Airtel Kenya, Airtel Uganda, Tigo Tanzania, Warid Congo-Brazzaville, Clickatell South, and PZ Cussons Kenya. She has also worked as a consultant for Grass Company and launched Word of Mouth Marketing Campaigns for Kimberly-Clarke’s Kotex products. Since June 2016, she has been a lead consultant at WinnieGor Consultancy, where she has worked with corporate organizations, non-profits, NGOs, and SMEs.

At Afritrade, Margaret serves as a lead marketing consultant and operations manager.

Naaman Geda begun his work career in the banking sector in Kenya. He then pursued. architecture and practiced at the Symbion Group, before moving on to DSA where he rose to become senior associate and head of office. While in practice, he worked on several landmark projects including: the Kampala Serena Hotel, UAP Headquarters (now Equity Headquarters), GSSC Building and Benoni RTF.

Naaman transitioned to private equity, combining his banking, research, civil society, and building industry experience to become the African Executive for Renovatio Capital. He handled deal origination and investment management on the continent, as well as Renovatio’s structured finance consultancy work which saw the organization advise pension funds, parastatals, multinationals, and HNIs in the East African region on asset strategy. Naaman is the Founder and Head of advisory at Afritrade Investments.
